Palm Beach County home prices edged up slightly in February, the second month in a row of month-over-month increases and perhaps a sign that the county's shaky housing market has hit bottom.
Scott Wingfield, chairman of the Realtors Association of St. Lucie.
"Anybody who buys today, they're going to do real well," he said. "This is where a lot of money is made in real estate. You never know where the bottom was until after it occurs."

What makes it a "reverse" mortgage?
A reverse mortgage is exactly what its name implies — a loan whose features make it essentially the reverse of a traditional "forward" mortgage. Instead of paying your lender, your lender pays you.

Who is eligible?
All owners listed on the home's title must be at least 62 years of age and occupy the home as their principal residence.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) supervises counseling agencies that can work with you in person or, more commonly, over the phone.
